Kaitlyn's 8th Birthday!

November 8th was Kaitlyn's golden birthday...turning 8 on the 8th!! How special!

Since we had a busy day planned, we let Kaitlyn open her gifts in the morning after breakfast. For breakfast she wanted scrambled eggs with ham in them (just the way her Papa...my dad...fixes them!) also honeydew melon and cinnamon rolls!!

She loved her gifts and will be sending out thank you notes soon!!

After church that morning, we were off to St. Cloud to eat lunch at IHOP! It was just the Randall Crew, but we have fun wherever we go... Katilyn loved her breakfast for lunch! (Our birthdays revolve around food!) She also got the waitress to bring her a huge ice cream sundae while singing Happy Birthday to her!!

After lunch, we headed down to Hutchinson to meet up with friends. Our little friend, Daniel, was having his 3rd birthday party. We were so blessed that they wanted to include Kaitlyn's birthday also!

The dads (Todd and Dmitri) held the cupcake cakes while the birthday kids were sung to and got to blow out the candles! What a fun time!! Not to mention the great Russian food that they fix...and Russian soda is awesome!

Natalya (Daniel's mom) made these fun cakes (which tasted awesome too!)...She put Kaitlyn's in the shape of an 8 and Daniel's in the shape of a 3!! Too cute! Daniel had a little firetruck on his cake while Kaitlyn had a girly pink pony of hers!! (Thanks for the fun, guys!!)

As Kailtyn likes to say now..."Eight is Great!!"
